Introduction to vSphere and the Software-Defined Data Center



Memory managemennt in virtual space:

Virtual memory creates a uniform virtual address space for applications and enables the OS and HW to handle the address translation between the virtual address space and the physical address space.

VMware virtualization layer creates contiguous addressable memory space when any VM is started.
